Laser Consult Technical, Scientific and Economic Consulting Kft. (Ltd.) was established in 1992 with the objective of accompanying its clients from the innovational idea all the way to selling the intellectual product by providing complex innovational services.

Our company is a technical, development, research and development (R&D), industrial development and technology transfer consulting enterprise. Within these main fields, we perform diverse activities: we deal with the development of projects, primarily with the objective of tender applications, preparing economic and industrial development studies, the innovation survey of companies, technology transfer, preparation of technology oriented companies’ activities in Hungary and higher education development consulting.

The foundation of the successful operation of the company is our fundamental philosophy, in which we lay an equal emphasis on searching for and monitoring both scientific and practical, economic results, a precise, objective and expert evaluation of available information and establishing a relationship of confidence with our clients. Our number one priorities are searching for world-class quality in Hungary and establishing world-class activities in Hungary, which, we believe, is possible, but is a somewhat neglected field within corporate, enterprise or institutional consulting in the country. The company possesses comprehensive methodologies developed in depth and acknowledged by international organisations (like UNIDO, the World Bank, PHARE) in collecting, analysing and utilising information relevant to projects. Our experts and colleagues are equally accepted and acknowledged members of economic life and the academic, professional scene.

The company is a registered and acknowledged enterprise both in Hungary and Europe. It is featured in the catalogued list of qualified application writers of the National Tender Qualifying Body (Registration Number: 90/281004). We are active members of the Csongrád County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TII (Technology Innovation Information - Luxemburg, Reg. No.: lasercon905), TTMM and ICNET (Intellektual Capital Network - Aarhus, Denmark), and we are registered consultants in the UNIDO and PHARE / TACIS central database (Reg. No.: 20808).

Professional background:

The majority owner and director of the company, Dr Péter Mogyorósi, received his degree as a physicist in 1984 and his PhD in laser surface micro-texturing in 1986 at József Attila University (JATE), Szeged, Hungary. He worked as a researcher for eight years initially at JATE and then at the Universities of Linz and Uppsala. He is author to some 25 international publications and in 1988, he won the E-MRS “Young Scientist Award”. During the course of his business career, he established AB Osteuropeiska Kompaniet in 1990 in Sweden together with Swedish businessmen. Between 1991 and 1996, he was majority owner of H&M Trafó Kft. (Ltd.). He established Laser Consult Kft. in 1992. He is the vice-chair of the Innovation Working Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, between 1995 and 1998 he was chairman of the Innovation Working Committee of the Csongrád County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and he is also the South Great Plain representative of the Hungarian Association for Innovation and has been a member of the presidium since 1999. Between 1997 and 1998 he was vice-chair of the Regional Health Insurance Committee. In 1993, he launched the operation of Mensa HungarIQa where he was vice-chair and later chair until 1997.

Along with the head of the company, full and part-time employees provide a broad professional background. They have excellent competences in the fields of environment protection, regional development, industrial development, natural sciences (biotechnology, chemistry, physics), regional and urban development and economics. They share many years of experience in the development, implementation and management of complex projects.

The company has an extended network of experts. Our Hungarian and international experts are full members and experts of many renowned international organisations. These experts participate in the work as necessary, according to the special professional demands of any given project.
